D&A Fluid Elastomer — Flexible abrasion resistant polyurethane elastomer for casting rubber components and coating metal and rubber surfaces.
A 2-part polyurethane resin with fluid consistency for coating and casting applications. Injectable into moulds and cavities to produce unique rubber components. Up to 550% elongation — cures at room temperature with no hot work or vulcanisation required.
Product Description
A 2-part polyurethane resin designed for the coating of metal and rubber surfaces, as well as casting of new rubber components. This flexible rubber material is appropriate for applications where durability, elasticity, high abrasion and tear resistance are required. Easy to mix and apply without specialist tools — cures at room temperature, eliminating the need for hot work and vulcanisation.
Key difference from Belzona 2111: The fluid consistency of Belzona 2131 enables injection into moulds and cavities to cast entirely new rubber components — such as shock absorbers, guide bearings and drive couplings — in addition to coating and repair applications.
